Last Day of School!

Austin and I walked up to mass this morning.  We went in the front pack and he instantly fell asleep.  He loves the music at mass.  I can't wait until he hears the praise band at St. John Vianney for his baptism next weekend.  :)  He liked the music when he was in my womb too.  It is so amazing that he was inside me!  My class was so excited to see Austin again.  I had to give a presentation to the first graders to let them know what second grade is all about! I will miss my kiddos from this year, but know that they are ready to move on to third grade.  It is amazing how fast time goes!  Austin also got to hang out with Seminarian Jim, Liz, and Mrs. Rice while I was giving my talk.  He had a great time! :)  My kids were worried about where Austin was, but I reassured them that he would return.  We also had a luncheon to go to with the staff.  He was pretty well behaved, but got hungry during dinner.  He had lots of people hold him to keep him calm and so I could eat.  That was really helpful.  After our busy day, we laid on the couch and took a very long nap!  He is such a great cuddler.  We are looking forward to a relaxing weekend.  Grandma and Grandpa Engemann are coming Sunday to hang out. Grandma is going to help me fix Austin's baptism outfit so it fits him well and a few other projects.
